Welcome Praveen VISWANATHAN to ELEQUANT Team !
After finishing a bachelor’s in Engineering Physics from IIT Delhi, India, and a master’s in Applied Physics from TU Delft, The Netherlands, Praveen is now doing his PhD at the Chatterjee Lab at QuTech, TU Delft.
“Quantum computing has always interested me, probably since high school” says Praveen. “Having grown up in the era of modern computing, the possibility of going beyond classical computing and performing (certain) computations even faster was quite appealing to me. Over the years, while this has evolved into an appreciation for all mesoscopic physics in general, I still hope and work towards a world where innovations in quantum computing impact everyday life”.
His research is on exploring the (fractional) quantum hall effect, and on potential novel qubit technologies in the quantum hall regime in planar germanium.
